Lun*na Menoh's new project "Couture Salvage" is work that comments on
waste and how waste can be made into new things, for instance new
Couture. No fabric, no piece of furniture, and no mechanical part
are wasted! As humans we cannot ignore the common everyday object,
because that object can be changed into something new. So the focus
is on the circulation of 'goods' and how it starts off useless and
then turned into something useful and new.
Lun*na Menoh saves them from the graveyard of crap and turns it into
gold, For instance:
-A vacuum cleaner becomes a jacket!
-A speaker becomes a skirt!!
-A chair becomes a necklace!!!
All works by Lun*na Menoh are for sale after the performance.
